Today’s William & Mary student-athletes juggle a lot — class, practice, exams, game prep, leadership, recovery, and plans for life after football. It’s a lot to carry. But the path may feel familiar to those of us who once wore the Green & Gold.
That’s why we created the Tribe Football Club — a way for former players to walk alongside current athletes through one-on-one guidance, life advice, and shared Tribe pride.

STAYING CONNECTED
From their first snap at Zable to the moment they cross the graduation stage, every new player gets matched with a Tribe alum — someone who’s been there before.
Over the years, this connection grows. Phone calls become lunches. Advice becomes friendship. Introductions get made. Futures take shape. And like any good team, iron sharpens iron — both mentor and mentee walk away stronger.
Graduation might mark the end of a formal mentorship, but the bond doesn’t stop there. It deepens. The player becomes the alum. The mentee becomes the mentor.
